Show William Adams Family Enjoys Get-together A reunion of the descendants of William Adams, one of the original pioneers to Parowan. was held on Monday of this week with a large group in attend a nee. The affair opened with a family fam-ily breakfast at the Five Mile recreation camp Monday morn-Ing morn-Ing with almost 300 participating participat-ing In the meal. The time from then to 2 p. m. was spent in touring the Parowan mountains. At 2 p. m. the family again gathered gath-ered at the Old Rock Church for visiting and viewing the vast collection of relics and pictures kept there. At 8 p. m. the family gathered at the Third Ward chapel for a meeting and program. The programs pro-grams was handled by the Oiler-ton Oiler-ton branch of the family, as It was the 100th birthday of Mary, Ollerton. a daughter of William ( Adams, who moved to Arizona with her family mny years ago. In connection with the meeting an election was held with Howard How-ard Adams, Parowan, president; Melvin Adams, San Juan County vice president; Milton Ollerton, Phoenix, Ariz., vice president; Carol A. Wright. Parowan, secretary; secre-tary; Ancil Adams, chairman; Claude Adams and I.uella A. Dalton, Parowan, temple commit-tee, commit-tee, and Sadie Ollerton, Provo, genealogist; finance committee, Harvey Adams, chairman, Ray and Norman Adams, Parowan as members. |
