Show PARAGONAH NEWS NOTES By Nora Lund Mrs. Glen Williamson and her daughters of Paradise Valley, 1 Nev., arrived In town Tuesday evening to spend a few days' with Edwin C. Williamson. Glen will Join her Friday. Ardlce sustained sus-tained serious Injuries in an automobile au-tomobile accident. Mrs. Mary R. Prothero, one of! our oldest residents, is ailing at; this time. Mrs. Jean Orton and children of Henderson, Nev. spent a week' here recently with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Robb. J. Lowe Barton suffered a very painful back injury last Thurs-lay Thurs-lay afternoon when ihe ladder on which he was standing 12 feet' from the ground, turned on the tree and let him fall. Mr. Barton was rushed by ambulance to the Iron County Hospital where he is still receiving treatment. Mrs. Beatrice Shidler and her daughter Carol of Silt, Colo.; Homer Robinson of Castle, Colo.; Fletcher Bleak of Rio Blanco, Colo., and Mr. and Mrs. Robb Robinson Rob-inson and baby of Rifle, Colo., all came to attend the funeral services of their cousins, Mrs. Sara Robb and little Marsha J. Smith on Saturday. Bill Dalton arrived in town Monday from Twin Falls, Idaho to spent a little time with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Dalton. Dal-ton. Charles and Douglas Murie and Ellen Marie Dalton are convalescing con-valescing at the home of their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Robb. They were all seriously serious-ly injured In the accident in which their mother, Mrs. Sara Robb was killed. Mrs. Lucille R. Conder and children of Magna were week end guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Robinson. They also visited with her brother Boyd and family. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Prothero and sons of Montebello, Calif., are here to spend their vacation in the old home town. They are dividing their visiting time between be-tween her aged father, Mr. J. J. Jones! Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Jones and family and Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Stones and family, also Mrs. Amy Prothero, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Prothero, Barton and Raymond Ray-mond Prothero. Mrs. Dortha Barton and three j sons spent the past week In Or-j derville with her people the B. F. j Sorensons. j The Herbert Topham family ( attended the wedding reception in Cedar City for Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Topham. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lund. He-ber He-ber and Gayle, also Mr. and Mrs. Terry Lund spent a delightful week end attending the Lund family reunion In Eager, Ariz. Others attending from this section sec-tion were Miss Lola Lund of Cedar City, Mrs. Ethel Lund and Mrs. Rosila Hill of Modena and LaMar Lund of Milford. Mrs. Eda Thorton spent a few days in Cedar City with her sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Jane Patterson and Mrs. Eliza Owens. A goodly number of our members mem-bers attended Stake Conference In Parowan Saturday and Sunday. Sun-day. Mr. and Mrs. Clem Duncan and, Ralph and LaVeda Duncan Dun-can of Meadown and Miss Kath-erine Kath-erine Lund and Miss Lula Ann Lund of Provo Spent Monday in town. They were on their way to their homes after attending the Lund Reunion in Arizona. Miss Phjlllis Robb returned on Friday from a week's vacation in Henderson, Nev., spent with her sisters, Mrs. Jene Orton, and Miss Esther Robb. Miss Joy Lamoreaux of St. George Is here for a- few days with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Asa fTophjfm spent a few days in Salt Lake City with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Topham and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl LeFevre and family. Max Robinson is spending a week in Logan with his sister, Mrs. Lucille Conder and family. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Hansen and family of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Rachel Smith of Clearfieild, Utah, were here to visit their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. T. Davenport and attend the Murie and Smith funeral services. Mrs. Hilma Lamoreaux made a trip to Salt Lake City during the week to receive medical attention. at-tention. Boyd Robinson will leave Friday Fri-day for Kanab where he will begin his teaching career. Mrs. Robinson and the children will join him as soon as he can obtain ob-tain living qurters. |
