Show High Councilman Sustained at Conference At the quarterly conference of Parowan Stake last Saturday and Sunday Claude E. Burton was sustained as a new member of the stake high council to succeed suc-ceed Howard Dalley who Is moving mov-ing out of the stake, and who nas been a member of that body for the past year. Mr. Burton Is a member of the Parowan Second Ward where he has been head of the genealogical genealo-gical committee for some time and an active member of the Elders El-ders quorum. The Parowan Stake Old Folks committee, consisting of J. Urie Willims. Herbert White. A. B Matheson, Lorln S. Orton. Palnh Mitchell and George A. Topham and their wives, was released a' the conference. Other releases included Delia Gurr as secretary 'f the stake Primary board, and Wm. Colston, as assistant stake clerk. These vacancies will be filled in the near future. Two Golden Gleaner awards were presented to young women of the stake at the MIA session ses-sion of the conference. Receiving th certificates tn' pines were Mrs. Cleone Wllcken of the Enoh Ward and Miss Valorie Evans of the Parowan Third Ward. |
