ELLEN DELL BIELER Region Eight P-T A Conference Set for September 4 A national field representative from the National Congress of Parents and Teachers will be In attendance at the Beaver-Iron County P-TA conference to be staged at Beaver, Tuesday, Sept. 4. it was revealed by Alta G. Hickman, Beaver, director of Re. gion Eight, Utah Congress of Parents and Teachers. In attendance will be Mrs. Ellen Dell Bieler of Chicago, 111. Mrs. Bieler has worked in nearly all phases of P-TA work from the local unit level through the state, district and national organizations. organiza-tions. The district conference will open at 1:30 p. m. with a short recess at 3 p. m. Second session will open at 3:15 and continue through to 4:30 p. m., Tuesday, it was pointed out. P-TA members from both counties, coun-ties, plus any interested citizens have been encouraged to attend the conference. It is the second such conference staged by the district. Last year the first conference con-ference was held in Cedar City and was deemed successful. Also in attendance at the conference con-ference to direct various departments depart-ments will be Utah Congress officers, of-ficers, Mrs. Youngs McGregor ol Ogden and Mrs. George H. Jone of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Jones t! first vice president of the stat ' organization and Mrs. McGregoi is a third vice president. These leaders will move to St George for a similar conferenc of Washtington County P-TA or ' ganizatlons on Wednesday. |
