Show Boy Scout Skill-o-ree Scouts, scouters, parents and interested residents are encouraged to participate in the Skill-O-Ree to be conducted Saturday, Mar. 27 at the Livestock Pavilion Pa-vilion on North Main Street. The Skill-O-Keo is being sponsored by the Ced?r Breaks District of the Boy Scouts of America. It will begin at 4 p. m. and run through 9 p. m. The afternoon and evening event will feature booths to demonstrate scout skills, competitive events and prizes. Booths will feature such skills as knot tying and lashing, judging and match striking, plant identification, identifi-cation, first aid, flag display, bird identification, map and compass, signaling, judging odors. Competitive events will include chariot race, fire by friction competition, obstacle course and a pancake flip contest. The contests will be conducted periodically periodi-cally throughout the Skill-O-Ree. |
