Show HIRSCHI HEADS RED CROSS The Iron County Chapter of the American Red Cross was reorganized reor-ganized at a meeting Tuesday evening with Loran Hirschl, who has served as Membership Cam-1 Cam-1 paign chairman for the past five I year, and as vice chairman during dur-ing the past year, elected chair- man of the Chapter for the coming com-ing year. Mr. Hirschl succeeds M. i A. Cowley, who will continue as a member of the board of directors direct-ors during the present year. Mario Topham of Parowan was named first vice president to succeed suc-ceed Mr. Hirschl, tnd Nathan Byers Was named second vice president, succeeding Amos C. Hatch of Parowan. Elected as members of the board of directors were A. B. Matheson, Parowan; John Warner War-ner and Grant Seaman. George Leigh was named treasurer to succeed Chester Cripps, and Miss Lois Gardner was appointed sec-I sec-I retary. I Gaylord Whitney has been County Drive Chairman, and Is now organizing a campaign team for the membership drive during March. . Sam Gentry was named as Blood Procurement Chairman ffr the county, succeeding Herschell Neeley, who had submitted his resignation from that TvwtMn. The next visit of the bloodmoblla to Iron County will be on rcu. it was announced, and Mr. Gentry Gen-try will be in charge of the visit. |
