Show Escalante Valley Cattle Growers Call Election Meet At the annual meeting of the EscaJante Valley Cattle Association Associa-tion Tuesday evening, two directors direc-tors were re-elected, and the board of directors was requested to make a study of the possibility possi-bility of establishing some type of marketing program In Iron County. Waldon Isom, president of the association, and Jess Guymon were re-elected to serve as members mem-bers of the board of directors, with Richard Leigh, Carl Harrison, Harri-son, Kumen Gardner and Duard Schoppman, whose terms on the board had not expired. It was announced by Mr. Isom that a meeting of the board would be called next week for the purpose of electing a president presi-dent and vice president Mr. Schoppman is currently serving as vice president with president Isom. Eldon Schmutz is secretary and treasurer for the group. As a feature of the meeting on Tuesday two very interesUng talks were given on cattle production pro-duction problems, one by Keith Norrls of the Bureau of Land Management and the other by WendeU Brooksby, veterinarian. |
