Show Rams Close First Half Division Play With Perfect Record TEAM STANDINGS Parowan 4 0 1.000 Beaver 2 1 .667 Millard 2 1 .667 Milford 0 3 .000 Ueila 0 3 .000 With the Parowan Rams finish ing play in the first half of the Mulard division race last Friday, and drawing a bye this week end. Coach iick Jones' charges will entertain an out-of-the-divi-sion team in a practice game this Friday night in the local gymnasium. The Fredonla High bchool team from Fredonla, Arizona, Ari-zona, will come here tor a game with the Rams on that nignt. The Kains finished" first-half play last Friday by taking the measure of beaver at that pJacel 44 .to 40, to remain the only un-1 beaten team in the division with four wins and np losses. All the rest of the" division teams have another game to play to end the first, half for them as they have had their bye week ends before. While Parowan entertains Fredonla Fre-donla Friday night, the Millard Eagles, who trounced Milford 71 to 33 last Friday at Fillmore, wijl came to Beaver for the game with Pat Lindsay's Beavers. These two teams are In a tie for second place In the race. The same night Milford will go to Delta where those two teams, each with no wins and three losses, will engage en-gage In a cellar battle. To open the second half of play In the division, on Feb. 8, MUford , will come to Parowan and Millard Mil-lard will go to Delta, while Beaver Bea-ver gets a bye. This Is the annual mid-week series, and will be followed fol-lowed by the second round on Saturday, Feb. 11, with Coach Jones' Rams going to Delta and , Milford coming to Beaver. |
