We are happy to welcome into . our community Mr. and Mrs. Ste-ven Ste-ven Grlmshaw. Mr. and Mrs. Grimshaw have been living in i Cedar City since last fall. They moved to Enoch this week and will be living in the Owen Matheson Ma-theson home. A farewell party was held in the ward cultural hall Friday night to honor Vern II. Grimshaw before he leaves for the mission i field. Games were played, re-' Ifreshments were served and dancing completed the evening. Mrs. Lynn Clark, who has been I visiting here with her parents,' Bishop and Mrs. Henry Grimshaw, Grim-shaw, left Saturday with her husband hus-band and infant son to return to Oklahoma where Mr. Clark Is stationed in the Army. A party honoring David Grimshaw, Grim-shaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. George D. Grimshaw, will be held in the ward cultural hall Saturday evening, eve-ning, May 15. David has been called to serve in the West Mexican Mex-ican mission. He leaves for the mission home on May 17. He will spent me next mree momns ai tiie BYU learning the Spanish language before leaving for Mexico. Mex-ico. His testimonial will be held Sunday at 2:30 p. m. I Mr. and Mrs. Roland J. Ander- J son and son Steve visited here Saturday and Sunday. Mr. Anderson Ander-son was a speaker in Sacrament meeting Sunday in connection with the farewell testimonial for Vern H. Grimshaw. They returned return-ed to their home in Alamo, Nev. ' Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Anderson and family visited with Mr. and Mrs. Dave Murie last week. A farewell testimonial was held last Sunday afternoon honoring hon-oring Vern H. Grimshaw, son of Bishop and Mrs. Henry Grimshaw. Grim-shaw. Vern goes into the mission home May 17 and from there to the BYU for three months training train-ing in the Spanish language. He will tVien leave for the North Argentine Mission for two years. |
