Show I 1--.. i 1 LJ: j - i STUDENT BODY OFFICERS at Parowan High School for the 1965 -flfi school year, named in election last Friday, are 1 to r, David Hyatt, president; Mickie Applegate, secretary, secre-tary, and Hal VVheatley, vice president David Hyatt to Head Parowan High Students in 1965-66 New student body officers for the Parowan High School were elected at the annual election on Friday of last week. The new officers for the 1965-66 school year will be David Hyatt, president; presi-dent; Hal Wheatley, vice president, presi-dent, and Mickie Applegate as secretary and treasurer. All three of the new officers are Juniors at the school this year where Hyatt served as Junior Jun-ior Prom chairman and Wheatley and Miss Applegate were active ac-tive in music and drama events. The will assume their duties at the beginning of the next school year In September. Hyatt is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Hyatt Wheatley is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Newel Wasden, and Miss Applegate is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Applegate. They will succed the following who have served as officers of th PHS during the year that Is drawing to a close: Bill Trimmer, president; Norman Robinson, vice president, and Janet Gurr, secretary and treasurer. Davle Hyatt has served as yearbook editor and Gay Rowley as Teler-ama Teler-ama editor during the year. To complete the naming of officers which are chosen at the same time the three student heads are elected, appointments were made for the following positions po-sitions in the student government: govern-ment: Named as editor of the Year-bock, Year-bock, The Pararama, was Kathy Mitchell, with Jerry Benson as assistant editor. Named as 1965-66 1965-66 editor of th school paper, Telerama, was Mary Louise Robinson Rob-inson with Andrea Adams as her assistant |
