Show CEDAR CITY SOCIAL SWING I Visiting in Cedar City Saturday Satur-day and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Gail Seegmiller were their sons Don and Dow and a daughter, daught-er, Mrs. John R. (Diane) Hirschi of Salt Lake City. The Gail Seeg-millers Seeg-millers left Monday (or a brief vacation in Las Vegas. Mrs. Floyd Matheson was surprised sur-prised Monday evening when several se-veral couples dropped in with a birthday cake and birthday wishes wish-es to help her celebrate her anniversary, an-niversary, May 10. Joining in the fun at the Matheson home were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rice, Mr. and Mrs. Craig Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Petty, Mr. and Mrs. Don Bellum and Mrs. Tom Lea-vitt. Lea-vitt. In Cedar City to spend Mother's Day at the Harlan P. Walker residence re-sidence were Miss Rosie Graff and Mrs. Sherrel Newby of Mesa, Arizona and Mrs. Edward Miller of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Walker returned to Mesa on Monday with her daughters. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Parry enjoyed having their son Jim and his wife home last week end from Salt Lake City. Accompanying Accompa-nying the Salt Lake City couple was a friend, Paul Lamborde. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Leavitt traveled to Nevada last week end where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Denzel Waite. A week's vacation was recently completed for two Cedar City couples, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Davis. The foursome traveled first to Las Vegas, then on to Phoenix, Ariz., and in to Mexico. They toured the Carlsbad Caverns, Ca-verns, visited in Albuequerque, N. M., and enroute back to Cedar City they stopped at Flagstaff and Glen Canyon. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Church Sunday included includ-ed Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart of St. George and Mr. and Mrs. Juntas Duncan of LaVerkin. Presently visiting In Cedar Ci ty at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Whitaker is Mrs. Whltak-er's Whltak-er's aunt, Mrs. Saddle Barnard of Brigham City. Milt's Stage Stop will be the scene for a Wednesday night bridge club dinner party. The dinner, a non-hostess affair, has turned out to be an annual event for Mrs. Sam Gentry, Mrs. La-nolr La-nolr Jones, Mrs. Hugh Cheever, Mrs. Clair Randall. Mrs. Claudia 1 Macfarlane, Mrs. West Seegmiller, Seegmil-ler, Mrs. Art Burnham, Mrs. Dur-rell Dur-rell Corry, Mrs. Don Mathews, Mrs. Merrill Kunz. Mrs. Emerson Adams, Mrs. Rex Harris and Mrs. Ray Lee. Vacation itinerary for Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Riedelbach will include in-clude a stop in Alabama where they Willi visit Mr. Reidelbach's mother, Mrs. Bob Pettit. A visit with sisters in Savanna, Ga., and with an aunt in Florida. The Cedar City couple also plan to go deep sea fishing while in Florida. Cedar City couple, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Baldwin recently spent a week in Tooele and Orem, visiting visit-ing with Bernett Baldwin and with Mr. and Mrs. Leland Gordon Gor-don and family. Mother's Day guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elworth Flanigan in Cedar City and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Robinson of Parowan have been Mr. and Mrs. Willis Robinson and family of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Leavitt spent the recent week end In Nevada visiting with Mr. Lea-vltt's Lea-vltt's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Vin-cent Leavitt and with Mrs. Lea-vitt's Lea-vitt's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fen-ton Fen-ton Frehner. Returning home this past week end from California were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ashman. The Ashman's had visited a week in Walnut Creek and San Francisco. The couple were guests of their daughter Phyllis and son-in-law, Dr. Preston Thompson. Before arriving back home, the Ash-mans Ash-mans also visited with Dr. and Mrs. Charles Ashman of Henderson, Hender-son, Nev. |
