Dr. Wesley Larsen, left, accepts contribu- j Educators Present I Periodicals To College Library A gitt of valuable periodical publications has been presented to the College of Southern Utah Library by Dr. and Mrs. Stanley Mulaik of Salt Lake City. The donors traveled to Cedar City to present the gift in person to A. T. Challls, CSU Librarian. The contribution includes collector's col-lector's Items of magazines more than 100 years old. A four year collection of HARPER'S WEEKLY spans the years 1861 through 1864. Issues of PICTURESQUE AMERICA from the year 1872 contain articles by William Cul-len Cul-len Bryant. Many of the publications are scientific nature study and biological bio-logical science magazines including includ-ing many issues of SCIENCE, SCIENTIFIC MONTHLY, NATURAL NATUR-AL HISTORY, NATURE STUDY and AMERICAN SCIENTIST, the official journal of Sigma Psl, professional pro-fessional biological scientists' organization. or-ganization. Editions of SCIENCE NEWSLETTER NEWS-LETTER span 15 years, copies of QUARTERLY DIGEST OF BIOLOGY BIOLO-GY and ARIZONA HIGHWAYS are included In the donation. Dr. Mulaik is Professor of biological bio-logical sciences at University of Utah. He is past president of the American Nature Study Society and Is presently editor of their publication. He has served as past president and executive secretary sec-retary of the Utah Nature Study Kfvtetv Mrs. Mulaik is past editor of NATURE NEWS NOTE?, official publication of the Utah Nature Study Society. She is now associate asso-ciate editor of the magazine.
