Show Fair Entry Exhibits Hold Attention Of County 4-H Clubs "What are you going to demonstrate dem-onstrate at the Fair?" This is a famiiar question now being asked ask-ed by 4-H members of each other as they prepare their contest con-test materials and articles for 4 11 Day at the Iron County Fair, reports Mabel Merrill, Iron County Coun-ty Home Agent. The l!MJl Fair is shaping up to be one of the b-st we have ever had. All members are being asked to exhibit some of their articles made during the summer sum-mer and many will take part in the contests at the Fair. 4-H Day will be on Friday, Sept. 1, for all judging and contests followed by a public Style Dress Review and Awards program the last day of the Fair, Monday, Sept. 4. The following is a schedule of events of interest to 4-Hers and to the homemakers of the area. Friday. Aug. 25: All Home Economics Ec-onomics books due in County Office. Monday, Aug. 28: Accept clothing cloth-ing exhibits in County Office. Tuesday, Aug. 29: Accept ali exhibits in County Office. Wednesday, Aug. 30: In Par-owan, Par-owan, accept all additional exhibits ex-hibits from 2:00 to 6:00 p. m. Wednesday, Au. 30. Special note to homemakers All adult exhibits due at exhibit room in Pa rowan. Friday, Sept. 1: 10:00 a. m. Meal preparation and Demonstration Demon-stration contests - open to public 1:00 p. m. Style Dress Review closed to public. 3:00 p. m. Judging cdntest open to nil members. Saturday, Sept. 2: 8:00 . 10:00 a. m. Accept crops and garden. Monday, Sept. 4: 3:00 p. m. Contestants prepare for public-Style public-Style Dress Review. 4:30 . Public Style Dress Review and Awards Program. 6:00 p. m. - or after program - pick up exhibits. |
