Show I Cedar City Woman Receives Mission Call I A farewell testimonial will be held Sunday, August 20, in honor hon-or of Audrey Armstrong, daughter daught-er of Mr. and Mrs. Elwin F. Armstrong of Cedar City. Testl-I Testl-I monial will be held In the First Ward Chapel at 2 p. m. in connection con-nection with the ward sacrament sacra-ment services. I Miss Armstrong has been call-! call-! ed to serve a two year mission j for the Church of Jesus Christ of I Latter-day Saints in the New : South Wales Australian Mission j field with headquarters in Sydney, Syd-ney, Australia. An invitation to friends and relatives to attend the testimonial testimon-ial has been extended by the ward bishopric and family. Miss Armstrong has long been active in affairs of the church. At the present time she is serving serv-ing as a Sunday School Teacher and as a second counselor in the YWMIA presidency. She is a graduate of Cedar City High School and of the College Col-lege of Southern Utah. In addition addi-tion she has graduated from the LDS Seminary and from both the lower and upper divisions of the LDS Institute of Religion. 4 4 1 1,: I ' ): - : MISS AUDREY ARMSTRONG I While on the CSU campus she was affiliated with the Xi I Lambda Tau social sorority and j was a member of the Lambda Delta Sigma, serving as vice president of the Omega Chapter.' Speaker at the testimonial j will be Oscar J. Hulet, with remarks re-marks by Dilworth Armstrong, I Karen M. Stokes, Bp. Lowell Sherratt and by the parents of the missionary. A response from the missionary mission-ary will also be heard. |
