Show AFROTC Commander To Begin Special Staff Course " Lt. Col. and Mrs. H. P. Anderson Ander-son will depart from Cedar City next week for Montgomery, Ala. where Colonel Anderson will attend at-tend the Air Command and Staff College until next June. They will be accompanied by their daughter Lynette. Following the staff course, where the colonel will study tactics, tac-tics, strategy, and military management, man-agement, he probably will be assigned as-signed to an overseas operational unit. He recently completed a course In jet flying at Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, and became qualified as a jet fighter pilot. During World War II he flew bombers in the European theater At the present time no successor succes-sor has been named to Colonel Anderson, at the College of Southern Utah, but Major Ralph A. Kelley, assigned to the cojlege last winter as assistant professor profes-sor of air science, will serve as acting commander of the AF ROTC unit. |
