Show "Last Chance Dance" Co eds at Branch Agricultural college threatened with "Old Maidhood" will get a last chance April 5, at a girl's choice dance being promoted by the President's Presi-dent's club. The "Last Chance Dance" will be a student body affair, with the names of all students on the campus selected through a drawing. draw-ing. The names of the couples have been published in the Ba-clan, Ba-clan, student newspaper. Since there are almost twice as many men as women enrolled at the college, extra men will be allowed al-lowed to attend the dance and "cut in" on their favorite co eds during the dancing. Purpose of the dance will be to promote more socialization. Students who fail to participate are threatened with some terrible but unannounced fate, according to Val Clark, general chairman. Mr. Clark is student body president presi-dent at BAC. Others assisting on the central committee are Carol Wright, Don Knight and Jean-nine Jean-nine Lunt, Cedar City, and Joane Erickson, Monroe. All are members mem-bers of the student council. Plans include, besides social dancing, some mixers and the serving of light refreshments. The affair will be held in the college gym. " |
