Show KANARRA Bp. L. J. Williams underwent an operation for the removal of a cataract from his eye during the week. The Relief Society ladies honor-ed honor-ed Mrs. Eth'ia Williams and Ver-da Ver-da Smith on their birthday at the home of Mrs. Williams. Each was presented with a friendship quilt and refreshments were served ser-ved to those present. Mrs. Vivian Prince and son Lowell of New Harmony have returned to their home after spending a couple of weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Davis. Mrs. Minnie Slack and children of Toquerville spent Sunday here with her mother, Mrs. Mlna Piatt. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Piatt have received word that -the body of their son Elmo, who was kl I led in the Pacific theatre of action during the recent war, had arrived ar-rived in the United States. |
