Show Date Set for Annual Deer Hunter's Ball James Hoyle, Jr., Commander of the Cedar Tost of the American Ameri-can Legion, announces that plans are well underway for the staging stag-ing of the annual Deer Hunters Ball. The big event will be staged on Thursday evening, October tlth, before the hunters leave for the hills the day before the season opens. As in the past many valuable prizes will be given away at the dance. Merchants will be contacted, con-tacted, Mr. Hoyle says, from Monday October 2nd, to Wednesday, Wednes-day, Oct. 4th, and all prizes contributed con-tributed will be displayed In the Southern Utah Power company window until the evening of the dance, In order that the contributing contrib-uting merchants will receive as much advertising as possible from the contributions. Commander Hoyle has named John M. Brown, as general chair man oi ine nance commmcc, ana has assigned Hal Chrlstensen, Francis Betenson to work with the Tost Commander In soliciting prizes for the big affair. Ross Woolsey, Chester Barrick und Hichard Leigh will be In charge of decorations. |
