Show Jaycees To Offer Special Training In Salesmanship An opportunity for citizens In Cedar City and vicinity to attend a special school designed to develop confidence, to Increase their blame, bl-ame, and to learn the fundamentals fundament-als of good salesmanship will be provided by the Cedar City Junior Chamber of Commerce when it sponsors a five week school, featuring featur-ing Don Lyman in his course "The Knack of Selling Yourself. The course will be conducted by the Cedar City Junior Chamber of Commerce leadership Committee. The course will he open to the public, pub-lic, with special emphasis .being placed on Jaycees attending. The course will get under way the later part of March and will be completed com-pleted before convention time. According to officers of the club the course Is designed specifically to do these things: 1. Understand and overcome fear. 2. Develop confidence and courage. 3. Learn fundamentals of public speaking. 4. Improve your memory. 5. Increase your income through ability to handle people. 6. Learn rules of successful human relations. 7. Understand fundamentals fundament-als of good salesmanship. The complete course will cost ''sWsBSSBidJSJBBBBJBISSJBJBJBJ $10.00 with the Cedar City dub participating in the earnings. Members of the Jaycee Committee In charge of the program are Cleone Craig, Jack Scott, Ken Segers, Calvin Cal-vin Smith and Sheldon Olds Board Advisor. The committee members urge employers em-ployers to attend and to bring their employees with them. They announce an-nounce that It Is the hope of the Jaycee organization to follow this school with a three weeks tourist school. |
