Show Daughter Of Local Druggist Dies Suddenly Marilyn Jill Fairbanks, 10-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Fairbanks, died suddenly Wednesday afternoon, of undetermined causes. The child had been slightly 111 from an attack of Influenza for several days, but was thought to be Improving, Im-proving, when she suddenly became seriously 111. Direct cause of death was respiratory failure, but the cause of the failure could not be determined. Marilyn was born In Salt Lake City on January 14, 1938, a daughter daugh-ter of Reed S. and Mae Thompson Fairbanks. She came to Cedar City with her parents about two years ago, when Mr. Fairbanks accepted employment at the Cowley Drug Company store. He Is now operating the Cedar City Drug Store. The child ls survived by her parents, par-ents, two brothers, Kent. 7. and Nell, 3, and a sister, Oall, 8. Also surviving are her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S. Thompson of St. George and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Fairbanks of Drlggs, Idaho. Funeral services will be conducted conduct-ed In the Cedar First ward chapel Saturday at 2 p. m. |
