Show Funeral Services Held For Former Cedar Resident Funeral services for Donald C. Urie of Provo, a long-time Cedar City resident, who died of a heart aliment on March 9, were held on Monday. March IS, in the Second Ward Chapel. Burial was In the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of the Southern Utah Mortuary. Bishop's Counsellor Rulon Knell conducted the services. Preliminary organ music was by Mrs. BerneUa Jones, and the musical mus-ical program included the following: follow-ing: Vocal duet, "The End of a Perfect Per-fect Day", by 'Ray Cosslett and Myles Walker, accompanied by Mrs. Beth Leigh. Song, "Lift Thine Eyes" by a double trio composed of Anette Bet-enson, Bet-enson, Marlon Luke, Lois Luke, Elda Manning, Maude Halversen, and Elaine Southwlck. Vocal solo, "Oh, My Father", Mrs. Ross Urie of Provo, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. BerneUa Jones. Closing song: "Lead Thou Me On", by the double trio. Speakers were Bishop A. C. Seeg-mlller Seeg-mlller and Wm. R. Palmer. Invoca tion was by Henry L. Jones, benediction bene-diction by Samuel F. Leigh, and dedicatory de-dicatory prayer by Parson U. Webster. Web-ster. . |
