Show School District To Continue Summer Music Plan As has been the practice in past years, the Iron County School District will continue its instrumental music program dur ing the summer months, according accord-ing tq A. B. Larson, instructor. Students may call at room 100 in the high school any day, beginning be-ginning May 31, and enroll or make appointments for testing. Particular emphasis will be given beginning students, according ac-cording to Mr. Larson, with the summer classes made small enough so that students may get the individual attention needed. As the instrumentation of a band and orchestra is limited to specific instruments and certain cer-tain number of each, prospective students should contact Mr. Larson Lar-son for ear and aptitude tests before making a selection. Daily schedule will be as follows: fol-lows: Junior high band at 8 a. m., beginning wood wind at 9 a. m., one year band at 10 a. m. beginning brass at 11 a. m., intermediate in-termediate band at 1 p. m., high Fchool band at 8 p. m. on Tuesday Tues-day and Thursday. All classes will be held in room 100 of the high school under un-der the direction of Mr. Larson. |
