Show Father of Cedar Woman Buried At Beaver Several Cedar City people attended at-tended the funeral services held in Beaver Monday afternoon for Lewis Arthur Harris, 58, prominent builder build-er of that city, who died suddenly Friday afternoon, April 18th, of a heart ailment. Mr. Harris was born July 1, 1882, at Beaver, a son of Fred C. and Celesta White Harris. In August, 1907, he married Mary Ann Hunter I of Cedar City, the ceremony taking place at Beaver. He worked for several years on the forest reserve at St. George and had lived In California until about seven years ago, when he returned to his home town In Beaver. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary A. Harris of Beaver, five daughters and a son: Mrs. Alice H. Schmidt of Seattle, Washington; Mrs. Lillian H. Skaggs of Cedar City; Mrs. Mary Lou Hupstedler of St. Louis, Missouri; Mrs. Maxlne H. Keith and Beverley Harris of Beaver, and Don Harris of Los Angeles; three grandchildren; a sister and a brother, Mrs. Ann Parsons of Los Angeles, and Harry Harris of Seattle, Washington. ... 4. |
