Show Citizenship Award Winners Announced At Branch College Derrill Ronnow of Cedar City and Edna Ashby of Holden won the citizenship awards presented annually an-nually at the Branch Agricultural college to the two students who show "evidence of being able in greatest measure to repay the nation na-tion the investment which it has made in them," it was announced today by Director Henry Ober-hansley. Ober-hansley. In speaking for the faculty, Director Oberhansley said, "We feel fortunate in having two such outstanding out-standing citizens to receive these awards." Announcement was also made of scholarship awards to the three higher institutions of learning as follows: to the University of Utah, Derrill Ronnow and Jack Urle, Cedar Ce-dar City, alternate; Brlgham Young University, Edna Ashby and Marie Cox, Rockvllle. alternate; Utah State Agricultural College, Karroll Halght, and Jack Lowman, both of Cedar City, and Mavis Johnson, Holden and Donald Lamoreaux, Cedar City, alternates. Clara Jean Nelson and Dorian Janson of the Cedar City high school graduating class received the two scholarships awarded to the B. A. C for next year. 1 i . |
