Show BERYL NOTES Beryl, Utah, June 20, 1917. Miss Celia Weiss was a visitor at Beryl today. " Mr. C. 11. Baird is spending a few weeks with his family near Beryl. , A dance was held Saturday last at Yale school house in honor of Mr. Or-ren Or-ren D. Payne's niece, who is spending a few weeks in our vicinity. The B. Y. H. club will hold its repu-( repu-( lar meeting Saturday night, June 1(5, at the Yale school house. We hope for a large attendance. Sunday School will be held every Sunday at 2 o'clock p. m. followed by preaching service. All are cordially invited. I Mrs. W. F. Shelley arrived last evening. Mrs. Shelley and her son, Dudley will spend the summer on their homestead about six miles from Beryl. Mr. and Mrs. Rowland B. Jenkins and small son, Robert Melvin, re-i re-i turned last week from Los Angeles. They expect to remain and paten' their homestead entry and declared themselves glad to return to the Es-calante. Es-calante. The children of the Armstrong Chapel Sunday School rendered a most enjoyable program last Sunday afternoon. Songs, recitations and dialogues di-alogues were given by the members of Miss A. E. Schnell's class. Mrs. J. M. Sweeney sang the Holy City. We tiust that the Sunday School may give many of these programs on the differ ent occasions throughout the year. Forty-three were present Sunday. |
