Show CIKCCMSTANCES OF THE DEATH OF ARTEMISIA LANG Buckhorn, Utah, June 27, 1!17. The sad news was received last Thursday night about 9:30 of the death of Artimisa Lang, 'laughter of John " M. Lang, formerly of this place The family moved to Enoch last February, leaving her with a sister until May 1, when she joined them. Artimisia, in company with her brother younger and a sister older, were on a small jag of wood and were nearly home when a stake broke, allowing the wood to fall upon the wheels and frighten- tlng the horses, causing them to run. Artimisia and her brother were both thrown upon the tongue of the wagon. The unfortunate girl caught hold of a tug and hung on for a tini.-. when her hold breaking loose she fell to the ground all in a heap and her neck was broken, killing her almost instant ly. She was picked up in this condition condi-tion a few minutes later. The team only ran about 150 feet in all. Artimisia was born in Beaver Oct. It, IMT. She haves a father, stepmother, step-mother, foui brothers and four sis- ters besides a host of other relatives to mourn her loss. Funeial services were held at the Stevens home and the body taken to Cedar cemetery for burial, |
