OCR Text	Show Meaning of the Apostleship. A correspondent wishes to know why the Apostleship of Prayer is so named. It is thus called because its work is the same as that of the apostles to promote the glory of God and the salvation sal-vation of souls by using the same means as those of the apostles prayer and good works, offered in union with Christ our Lord, and with the sentiments senti-ments of His Divine Heart. The more popular title is the League of the Sacred Sa-cred Heart, which indicates the close j md active spiritual union which its members cultivate with one another and with the Heart of Jesus.
