Show RAWLINS, WYO. Rev. Father Casey of St. Joseph's church united in holy matrimony Mr. Will Hays and Miss Elizabeth B. Seitz, both of this city, on Monday .of last week. The church had been very prettily decorated for the occasion with flowers, flow-ers, and a large number of the friends of the contracting parties were present pres-ent to hear the solemn words spoken which bind them together for life. At the conclusion of the ceremony an elegant wedding breakfast was served in honor of the young couple at the residence of. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Gunning, and a reception was tendered ten-dered them at the same place in the evening, after which the young couple left for their new home in Wamsutter, where the groom is manager of Ilugus & Co.'s store. I Miss Alice Faye bonnel of Rawlins, who was often the guest of her aunt, Mrs. Charles Bellamy, during the residence resi-dence of that lady in Cheyenne, was j married at her home to Mr. Charles ! Ray Ferris, the second son of the late Georse Ferris. A telegram was received from Colorado Colo-rado City announcing the death there of Mrs. Frank Thompson, wife of the assistant foreman in the Union Pacific shops. Deceased formerly lived in this city. Indeed she grew to womanhood and was married here, and she had a large circle of friends in Rawlins who will be pained to hear of her unexpected death, and whose heartfelt sympathy will be extended to the stricken husband hus-band and relatives. John H. Farley, ex-chief of police of Denver, stopped off here yesterday to consult George L. Gibson and John C. Gunning regarding the development of the oil lands southwest of Rawlins. He was accompanied by Mrs. Farley, and' they were en route home from a trip to Salt Lake City. Mr. Farley has taken an interest in the oil lands and is endeavoring en-deavoring to interest a number of prominent Denver capitalists in their development. He is most enthusiastic over the surface indications and confidently con-fidently believes that a flowing well will be developed if capital can be secured se-cured to sink a well to a depth of 1,500 to 2,000 feet.
