Show Personal and Social. A distinct honor was conferred upon two well known Denver girls last week when they were received by Pope Leo and allowed to kiss the hand of the venerable pontiff. Miss Grace Campbell Camp-bell and Miss Grace Ensey, both popular popu-lar in this city, are traveling abroad, and with a large party of Americans were admitted to the Vatican and allowed al-lowed to see the Pope. Miss Campbell Camp-bell is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Campbell and a graduate of the Manual Training school. Later she en tered a boarding school at Northampton, Northamp-ton, Mass., and has spent the past two years in Europe, chaperoned by Mjss Grace Ensey. . The Aandern club will meet with Miss Shevnin, 1361 . Pennsylvania avenue, next Wednesday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Grattan O'Bryan, who have been spending the past year in eastern cities, have returned to Denver Den-ver and will make their home at 1463 Washington avenue. . Mrs. P. H. Balfe is rapidly recovering recover-ing from a serious illness which has confined her. to St. Joseph's , hospital for some weeks. ; Mrs. William Guion is improving in health after a critical operation. |
