Show JAP FORCE REPELS RAIDERS. Russian Bolsheviki Figures in Clash at Hun-Chun. Tokio. Japanese troops have been sent to Hun-Chun, a town in Man-dh.uria, Man-dh.uria, near the Korean frontier, which was raided by bandits on Saturday. Sat-urday. Reports received here state hat the attacking party consisted of Russian Bolsheviki, Koreans and Chinese, Chi-nese, who are bitter against Japan. Ten Japanese were killed and thirty-two thirty-two wounded during the attack, while forty-eight of the bandit party were killed or injured. Among the slain were Superintendent Yasuda of the Japanese police station ; Inspector Kato and his wife. Vice Consul Akisu was seriously wounded and a score of houses in the Japanese quarter were burned. |
