Show Dramatic Club Pleases Audiences An audience which packed the Relief Re-lief Society hall until standing room was at a premium last Tuesday night was pleased beyond expression at the rendition of "Facing the Music" by 'the Gunnison Dramatic club. Not for many years have the lovers of "real fun" in Gunnison had the pleasure of hearing the clever artists that appeared ap-peared in the roaring, hilarious comedy com-edy and the praise offered by the audience was frequently given by the applause. This is the show that was promised the citizens for some time, and its reception re-ception Tuesday night speaks much tor the attempt of the players to enthuse en-thuse the citizens in the support and others in staging such plays more frequently. fre-quently. The "acting" of every individual indi-vidual character, the costuming, and the general delivery as just like "regular "reg-ular show people." The only drawback was the stage settings and stage facilities. fac-ilities. With a regular place the members of the company would rank well with showpeople who do nothing else. Elrey Christiansen, as John Smith, the man who sees much trouble and whose flirtations caused much grief, Clyde Edmonds, his consoling friend, Floyd Beck, the English Lord whose fondness for young girls and his "soda and whiskey," Grant Nielson, as the Curate of St. Andrews, Nelson Beal, the wiley detective from Vine Street police station, Erma Lunde-berg, Lunde-berg, wife of the Reverend J. Smith, Mary Jensen, wife of the "much troubled" John Smith, Ruth Perkins, the actress from the Bijou theatre and Leona p;dward3, as Mrs. Pouting, the housekeeper, were those who appeared ap-peared in the three-act play. The entire cast had the lines perfect and the acting was just what the audience audi-ence wished. The cluli made its tirsi appeal .meat .me-at Fayette last Monday night.
