Show Escalante's Great Editor: I just returned from a visit to Escalante where I saw many neighbors neigh-bors and friends and would like to compliment them on the wonderful work done at the cemetery. What used to be a field of stickers and burrs and weeds has now been transformed into the likes of a . beautiful park. I'm sure there had to '. be a great deal of planning go into this, but from what I'm told a public thanks should go to Thell Barney and Reed Wooley. That is proof what a little idea and hard work can do to help make a town beautiful. It was so nice to see my friends again. Escalante will always seem like home to me, and it was so nice to see so many well cared for yards and flowers. June Van Hemert |
