Show EMTs Answer Six Calls For Help Garfield County Emergency Medical Technicians responded to six calls for assistance during the past week according to ambulance operations officer Bob McCullough. On July 9, EMTs Karleen Muir, Alfred Foster and Neal Foster responded to a call at Bryce Canyon National Park to assist Suzie Cass, no address given. On July 12, at 3 p.m., Darren Obray, Richfield, was transported from Garfield Memorial Hospital to Life Flight at Panguitch Airport by EMT Mary Beth Bailey and the Life Flight crew. On July 13 at 5:20 p.m., Vanessa Taboada, Long Beach, Calif, was transported from a campground at Bryce Canyon National Park to Garfield Memorial Hospital by EMTs Alfred Foster and Carolyn I. Barker. On July 14 at 12:30 a.m., Loretta Linford was transported from Garfield Memorial Hospital to LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City by EMTs Dorothy Barney and Bob Smith. On July 15 at 3:52 a.m., Marie Rice, San Diego, Calif, was transported tran-sported from Bryce Canyon National Park to Garfield Memorial Hospital by EMTs Kenn Kerr, Alfred Foster and Neal Foster. On July 15 at 3:50 p.m., Kristy Steed was transported from her home in Escalante to Garfield Memorial Hospital by EMTs Rose Woolsey, Leslie Davis and Pat Shakespear. |
