Show - Tropic Topics - Ella Adair The Norman Littlefields had all of their children home for their 50th wedding anniversary: Marie Zohner, Henderson, Nev.; Mazel Littlefield, Murray; Judean Carter, Wyoming; Lanny Littlefield, Las Vegas; Jay Littlefield, Tropic; and their families. Other out-of-town guests were Heber Hall, LaFair Hall, Mac LeFevre, Lenora LeFevre, Ramona Millett, Bert Millett, Thelma Jolley, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Haws, Mr. and Mrs. Rett Shakespear, Mr. and Mrs. Arnel Hepworth, Gwen Evans and Myrtle Baldwin. July 11-13 a group of senior citizens boarded the van and went to Mt. Pleasant and Manti to a singles conference, and the Mormon Miracle Pageant. Mr. and Mrs. Max Stewart took son, Sean, to Provo to enter the LDS Missionary Training Center prior to his going to Japan. The John H. Johnson family reunion will be held Saturday at Kings Creek Camp. The Silas Munson family is in charge of the program. Orvilla Shakespear spent a few days with her daughter, Ruth Mae Hamby in northern Utah. The Lester Clarke family reunion was held. The Alan Clarke family of Salt Lake City and Sherrell Lamb family of Ida. were among the guests. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Millett had sons, Ronald and Robert, home for a vacation. Sons Paul, Lloyd and David came during the week. The Reg Stewarts had son, Glade, home over the weekend. Glade took his son up to Provo to attend a football camp. Mr. and Mrs. Vern Adair visited with the Arnold Adairs. Mr. and Mrs. Bart Palmer, Mr. and Mrs. Vance Pollock, Mr. and Mrs. Lonny Pollock and Steve Pollock, and families, met a plane in Salt Lake City to welcome their parents, Afton and DelRae Pollock as they returned from their LDS mission to the Philippines. Lowell Mecham had surgery on his eye in St. George. Renone Hodson spent two days with the Ray Littlefields. The Littlefields Lit-tlefields joined daughter Christin Littlefield at Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Ringo McCoy are living in the Nyle Richards home. Laura Cottam visited with LuElla Mangum and the Ursel Otts. Mr. and Mrs. Malen Littleifeld were visited by their niece, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Garn Olson, from California. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Richards were home for three days vacation from Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Cloward, Spanish Fork; Lori Morse, Ogden were visitors at the Ursel Ott home. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Mangum, Texas visited in Tropic. Afton Pollock and Del Rae Pollock will give their mission report in sacrament meeting Sunday at 10:45 a.m. The Larvin Pollocks have daughter Marian Allen visiting. Rachel Ahlstrom has her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Dalley visiting with her. The Charley Franciscos had a visit from daughter Helena. Mr. and Mrs. William Pollock attended the Heaton family reunion near Price. Margaret Mecham is in New Mexico attending her parents' 50th wedding anniversary party and a missionary farewell for her niece. |
