Show latch lappeningg May Sawyer 735-4207 Visiting the Robert Evans family this week were Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Clark, Cannonville; Mr. and Mrs. Tumau Laulu, Clayton Laulu, Jerod Laulu and Karl Laulu, Ferron, Utah; and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Young, Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Evans, Mikey Evans and Bobby Evans visited in Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Riggs, Cedar City visited Mr. and Mrs. Leland Riggs over the weekend. Cassie Makensen is a patient in the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo. Her mother Mrs. Mark Makensen is staying there with her. Buster Evans, Salt Lake City is here at this trailer home for a few weeks. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Orlas Riggs are Mr. and Mrs. Deuard Riggs, Mr. and Mrs. Less Foote, Richard Foote and Boyd Foote, Salt Lake City and Mike Foote and Stephany Foote, St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Young, Las Vegas, Nev. brought Danny Young and Susan Young home, after spending a flew weeks with them. While here they visited the Vern Youngs. Mr. and Mrs. Leone Wooley returned to Orem, Utah after spending a few weeks at their home here. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Garth Heap during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Heap, Mike Heap, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd LeFevre, Mr. and Mrs. Dallin Sawyer and Stephany Sawyer and Brittney Heap, all Cedar City. Visitors at the David Sawyers during the week were Ileta Dix, Panguitch; Amberly Roberts, Antimony and Kurt Sawyer. Colter Sawyer, Aimee Sawyer, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Sawyer, Diana Sawyer, Benjamin Sawyer, John Zimenack and Dallin Sawyer, all Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. David Sawyer visited Mr. and Mrs. Ken Roberts in Antimony. Mr. and Mrs. Deloy Evans and family, Hurricane visited Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans last week. Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Campbell, St. George are here visiting Mr. and Mrs. Gary Fagg and Effel Riggs. A quad baby shower was held Tuesday for Terry Barney, Terry Seals, Janett Young and Jeanette Sawyer at the cutural hall. A nice crowd of ladies attended. The Hatch Ward sacrament meting program was by the Relief Society presidency with a talk by President Ardis Evans, song "As Sisters In Zion" by Ardis Evans, ' Virginia Gilles and Ruth Wilson, another talk by Virginia Gibbs and a musical reading by Ruth Wilson. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Wilson are Charolet Lane, Mc-Carther Mc-Carther Lane, Chris Lane, Vernon Lane, Gordon Lane, Monkey Ridge, Ariz. Beth Weideman, Connie Workman, Work-man, Henderson, Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Marshall, Salt Lake City visited Mr. and Mrs. Eric Barnhurst. Mr. and Mrs. Max Burrows, Fredonia, Ariz, spent a week at their cabin in "Old Town." Mr. and Mrs. Robert Burrows and family of Fredonia, Ariz, spent the weekend with the Max Burrows where they had a cookout. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lowder. Mary Beth Bailey, Minday Bailey, William Riggs and Angela Riggs, Panguitch. Visitors at Lileth Wilson's home were Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Wilson and Glena Wilson, Danville, Calif.; Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Roberts, Florida; and Barbara Taylor, Provo; also, the Carl Wilson family, St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Barnhurst returned home after spending a few days in Salt Lake City. Jenefer Dalton, Las Vegas is staying with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Barney. She has been attending 4-H camp at Cedar Mountain the past week. Mr and Mrs. Cal Burrows, Kanab took Effel Riggs to a Burrows reunion at Springville. David Seals had a bike wreck and had to have stitches in his hand. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans went to Hurricane to take care of the Deloy Evans property while they are on vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Tom John, Sauna were here at their cabin. Mrs. Forest Bales, Longdale, Nev. visited with them. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Dalton spent Thursday in Cedar City and Parowan with the Wayne Stubbs. Visiting the LaVal Sawyers over the weekend were Pete Sawyer, Phoenix; Carta Sawyer, Michael Sawyer and Lance Sawsyer took him home Sunday. Nicole Rhees and children, Page, Ariz, visited the LaVal Sawyers. Mr. and Mrs. lee Syphus stayed at their cabin over the weekend. While here Gayla received word that her father was ill in the hospital at Tucson, Ariz. Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Turek attended the wedding of their grandson Jeff Turek and Valerie Johnson at the Manti LDS Temple, July 11. They attended a reception for the newlyweds at Washington, Utah. The Erwin and Elsie Wood reunion was held on the Upper Mammoth July 12-13. ' |
