Show ( (IREfl OBITUARIES Vernon Holman h Vernon LeRoy Holman, 76, ji Bountiful and formerly of Panguitch, died July 13, 1986, in Provo. He was born July 7, 1910, Provo, to William Riley and Hannah Elizabeth Foster Holman. He i married Arvilla Marie Booth, Dec. 16, 1929, Vernal; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Sept. 26, 1983. He had served as president of ) Panguitch LDS Stake from 1952 to 1967 and had been a member of a bishopric. He was active in city and com- munity affairs, serving two terms in the Utah State Senate; 12 years as a member of the Utah State Tax ; Commission and as a member of the I Panguitch City Council. He and his wife had served as ordinance workers in the Salt Lake LDS Temple for 13 years. j Survivors: sons, daughters, Laurel L., Wayne J., Mrs. Richard B. Delta; Laura Logi, Salt Lake City; Rachel Bagley, Panguitch. i Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Bountiful 27th i LDS Ward chapel with Bishop J. David Call, officiating. Larry L. Hortin offered the family prayer; Dawn Call played prelude and postlude music and Rick B. Holman offered the invocation. Tributes were by Verna Owens, Laurel L. Holman, Carol Hortin, Wayne J. Holman. Speaker was Layton Barney and remarks by Bishop Call. Music included selections by grandchildren and ! Carl Farnsworth Memorial services for Carl Farnsworth have been scheduled for Saturday, July 26 at the Panguitch LDS Stake Center at 1 pm. Members of the family will greet friends and relatives from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the stake center. Mr. Farnsworth drowned with his brother Phillip Farnsworth in a boating accident at Flaming Gorge Reservoir on May 16. His body has never been recovered. Memorial services will be under the direction of Bishop Orian J. Bauer of the Panguitch Second LDS Ward. Delbert C. Dalton CIRCLEVILLE Funeral services ser-vices for Delbert C. Dalton were held Saturday in the Circleville First LDS Ward chapel with Bishop Owen K. Fox, officiating. Gary Dalton offered the family prayer; Martha Veater played prelude and postlude music and Clayton Dalton offered the invocation. in-vocation. Speakers were Arthur Dalton and Bishop Alan Maynes. A tribute was given from granddaughters. Bishop Fox gave remarks. Music included vocal quartet composed of Charleen Dalton, Terecea Westwood, Sharon Whit-taker Whit-taker and Ann Dalton. Michael Dalton offered the benediction. Interment was in the Circleville Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Keith Dalton offered the dedicatory rayer. Pallbearers were Cary Rees, Dahl Dalton, Wade Dalton, Joe Dalton, Chris Whittaker, Jeff Ray, Brian Nielson, Kerry Nielson, Nathan Whittaker and Bryce Dalton. Vernie Barlow JUNCTION Vernie Barlow, 93, Junction, died July 11, 1986, in a Richfield care center. She was born Dec. 23, 1892, Bar-nson Bar-nson Ranch, Piute County, to Bernard and Elizabeth Braithwaite Barnson. She was married to George LeRoy Barlow, Dec. 28, 1911, Junction; later solmenized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died Dec. 1, 1949. She served in the auxiliaries of the LDS Church, including president of the Relief Society, Primary and YWMIA. She was a Relief Society visiting teacher for 20 years and was magazine agent. She had served as a teacher in the auxiliaries. Survivors: son, daughters, Ferrall L. "Tom", Marysvale; Mrs. Roscoe (Da) Child, Ogden; Mrs. Trelma E. Simkins, Farmington; Mrs. Thouis (Chloe) Martineau, Junction; 13 grandchildren; 33 greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; 12 great-greatgrandchildren. Music included selection by the Circleville First Ward Ladies Chorus; vocal duet by Greg and Margaret Jorgensen; piano solo, Monya Fautin; selection by Bernella Brown and family and vocal duet by Darrell and Beth Luke. Max B. Morrill offered the benediction. Interment was in the Junction Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Jack Halladay offered the dedicatory prayer.
