Mormon Miracle Singles Conference Is Scheduled Lois and Leon Lister, Mt. Pleasant, have been invited to be guest speakers at the Mormon Miracle Pageant and Singles Conference, sponsored by the Ephraim Manti Stakes Young Special Interest ' Special Interest groups, and scheduled July 12, 13, and 14. The couple are well-known for their popular presentations to church and civic groups throughout the area. Addressing themselves to problems of singles, they each share their unique experiences and insights. Lois, a once down-in-the-dumps divorcee, traces her own "Odyssey" through her research " ugh self-help and behaviorial self-management psychology and spiritual struggling, through her years as a successful single, to her now-happy, fulfilled life as the wife nf a prominent businessman. Her enthusiasm and ebullience are catching, and her can-do attitude and love for her fellow beings radiate warmth and permeate all of her presentations. Leon Lister shares insights he has acquired through his search for effective business management and leadership skills, and his success-oriented thinking comes from his personal accomplishmetns as a successful bank executive and businessman. The dynamic duo, will be the featured Satuday speakers on the Conference theme: "The Worth of A Soul." Other activities of the Singles Conference include a record-hop Friday night with get-acquainted activities and games planned for those who do not wish to dance. Saturday morning's plans include seminars with special workshop leaders, among them, LeMar Hanson, on the subject, "Achieving Spirituallity," and The Honorable Don Tibbs, on "You and the Law." Saturday evening, chartered buses will transport Conference attendees to a roast-beef banquet in Manti, and then on to Temple Hill for the Eighteenth Annual presentation of the world-renown Mormon Miracle pageant. Early Sunday morning will see a sunrise testimony meeting on the beautiful Temple Hill site. A box lunch will be offered, and participants will say "Goodbye, until next year!" Meals and lodging are included in the $40.00 fee. Local residents, not needing to take advantage of lodging and all meals, can make arrangements to pay for only those activities in which they wish to participate: Dance, $2; Workshops and Special Speakers, $6; meals, $3 each, except $4 for Saturday's banquet.
