Show Pay Tribute Editor: My family and I just recently returned to Panguitch to live. We are very happy to be back among family and friends. Although we enjoyed the activities on the Fourth of July, I was quite disappointed to see that the festivities had dwindled, namely the parade. I heard a lot of comments like "Oh well, our big celebration is on the 24th." That is how it has always been and it is a good tradition because celebrating the arrival of our forefathers to Utah is important to all of us, plus the Panguitch's homecoming celebration also. The intent of this latter it not only to generate enthusiasm for the upcoming 24th celebration, but to encourage a desire and commitment to improve our celebration of July 4 for next year, to show our patriotism, because I know we are a patriotic group of people living here Let's not slip into indifference or complacency, but show as great a desire to pay tribute to our fathers of the Revolution as we do to our pioneer fathers.
