Show Visitors Down At Bryce BRYCE CANYON The number of visitors to Bryce Canyon National Park during September was down 26 percent according to Superintendent Thomas 0. Hobbs. A total of 74,500 persons visited the park during the month. Visitation for the first nine months of 1979 has declined 17 percent with 512,000 visitors recorded. Bryce Canyon Lodge, the Camper Stor and Service Station are closed, but accommodations and services outside the park remain open through the wenter. A section of North Campground will be open to camping until the first heavy snow. |
