Show Editor, News: Last week in the Garfield County News in the article about the apprehension of Mark Huddieston it stated the Garfield County officer apprehended him. I would like to make it clear that Mark Hud-dleston wouldn't have been caught if it hadn't been for the professional help of many law enforcement agencies In southern Utah including Kane County Sheriff's Department, Kanab City Police Department, Panguitch City Police Department, Utah Highway Patrol, Garfield Sheriffs Posse members a a Ihttv rtmA ViifnV. hikers leaving the vicinity and set up roadblocks to inform the public of who we were looking for. Also the Utah Highway Patrol dispatchers out of Richfield played a big part as they were on hand to relay any message needing to get to all involved. Huddieston was taken into custody and booked into the Garfield County , Jail on possession of ' stolen property charge. He has since pleaded guilty and was sentenced to a maximum of five years in the Utah State Prison. Negotiations are underway to move Huddieston to Oregon State where he is wanted for parole violation and several theft charges. The guns and cameras are being returned to the owners because of their efforts to document the seriel numbers of these Thanks to all of the law enforcement officers for Iheir assistance in capturing Mark Hudaleston.
