Show Coal Study Available The U.S. Geological Survey released Wednesday Open-File Report 79-1529, "Composite geophysical and lithologic logs and coal analysis for core-hole drilling in the Kaiparowits coal field, Garfield County, Utah," by H.D. Contract drilling of one core-hole and one offset hole was done in the Kaiparowits coal field for the purpose of analyzing the coal the three coal zones in the Upper Cretaceous Straight Cliffs Formation.
