Show Boulder Sews Lenora LeKevre Neal and Fay Jepeen returned from an eight day trip to Bellvieat, Neb. where they attended the wedding and reception of their son Dr. Neal Henry Jepeen and Linda Schriner on Jan. 7. Dr. Jepsen was transferred from Texas to the Offetto Air Force Base in Nebraska, October 1977. Those with business in Cedar City were Scot and Twila McDonald and children. Gordon and Geraldine Bills and family visited with her sister. Dell LeFevre was there to a Five County Meeting. Youell Wright came from Southern California to see his brother Obe Wright. Dell LeFevre's friends Bill Coats and grandson Rodney Jones from Jeffrey City, Wyo. came with six hounds to hunt lion upon the Boulder Mountain Mac and Dell LeFevre were with them when they bagged a large lion. Those in Richfield on business were Elaine Roundy Neal and Fay Jepsen and Anthony and Dot Coombs. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Flake from Mesa, Ariz, are here on vacation in our snow covered valley. Gladv LeFevre, Madlyn Haws and Larry Davis are taking an eight week course on Emergency Medical Training. The classes are held in Tropic Madlyn Haws, Judie Davis and Laura Preston were the speakers in sacrament meeting on Jan. 15. Mr and Mrs. David Adams of Escalante were the speakers January 22. Val Jean and Ann Haws and son were visiting at his parents home Leland and Golda Haws There was about 13 inches of snow in Salt Gulch and Upper Boulder plus four inches of new snow Jan. 23. In the foothills of the Boulder Mountain the snow measured 16 inches before this last storm. |
