Show APRIL 28, 1987 L, Herbert James L. Hodson James Leland Hodson, 30, of Salt Lake City, formerly of Fruit Heights, died Tuesday, April 14, 1987 from iijuries sustained in an industrial accident. He was born March 26, 1957, in Denver, Colo., a son of James Val and Carol Lee Shreeve Hodson. He married Kathleen Marie Mosman Nov. 13, 1978, in Reno, Nev. He was vice president and chief executive officer of Hodson Laboratories and Hodson Chemical Construction in North Salt Lake. Herbert Ronald Farley died March 29, 1987 in Bountiful. Born Oct. 9, 1932 in Ogden to Herbert Allen and Vera LaVern Morley Farley. Married Louise Hardman Aug. 15, 1963 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Employee at Hill Air Force Base for many years. Enjoyed out of doors and was a great father. Survived by wife and children, Annette, David Ronald, Janet, Jonathan Dean and Steve James all of Bountiful. Also brothers and sisters, Mrs. Peggy Rouleau, Beverly, Mass.; Mrs. LaVern Bowersox, Fort Stanton, New Mexico; David Ralph Farley, Stockton, Calif.; Mrs. Gary (Joan) Peterson, River-dalMrs. Jesse (Mona) Laub, Layton; Dale Moss and Gay Morley, both of Ogden; Mrs. Doralee e; He was a member of the LDS Church. He graduated from Davis High School where he was active in R. Farley Fred Herbert Shirts Fred Herbert Shirts, 88, died April 20, 1987 in a Bountiful nursing home of causes incident to age. He was born Jan. 5, 1899 in Lonetree, Wyo., son of James Ellis and Lydia Musetta Workman Shirts. He married Opal Isabel Warr, Nov. 8, 1933 in Farmington. Marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Aug. 10, 1980. FARLEY Barnes, San Francisco, Calif. Preceded in death by a son, Michael Kurt. Funeral services were Thursday at the Bountiful 17th Ward Chapel. Burial in Bountiful Cemetery. He was a member of the LDS Church. Survivors: Fred D., Cypress, California; Mrs. Ray (Phyllis) Pearson, Provo; Mrs. Rulon (Louise) Duncan, Centerville; George H., Sandy; 19 grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Jeff (Velva) Jones, Hailey, Idaho; Vera Thomason, Wendell, Idaho. He was an Eagle Scout and an accomplished pianist. He enjoyed creative writing, scuba diving, tennis and filmmaking. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing in Montana. Angel St., Kaysville, died Sunday, April 12, 1987 at a Clearfield nursing home of heart failure. She was born March 21, 1927 in Kaysville, a daughter of Joseph Melvin and Cora Pearl Flint Hill. Mary R. Warnock Torvund services held Lawrence Bert Torvund, 62, 511 Wasatch Drive, Layton, died Friday, April 17, 1987 at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City of heart failure. He was born Feb. 2, 1925 in Graybull, Wyo., a son of John and of Florence Medler Torvund. He married Dorothy Benik March 28, 1945 in Ogden. He was a retired computer analyst supervisor at Hill Air Force Base. He had also been a real estate agent for Network Real Estate. He was reared in Graybull, Wyo., and had lived in Layton since 1940. He graduated from high school in Wyoming. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Navy, past member of the Layton Eagles and a member of the Ogden Board of Realtors. He was an avid horseman. Surviving are his widow of Layton; one son and two daughters, Larry J. Torvund and Mrs. Gary L. (Ivana) Strong, both of Layton; Mrs. Marshall (Karla) Bishop, Kennewick, Wash.; seven grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Opal Fink, Graybull, Wyo. Services were held April 21 at Lindquists Layton Chapel with Pastor Myke Crowder of the Assembly of God Church in Layton officiating. Mary Roberts Warnock, 79, died April 16, 1987 in a Bountiful nursing home. She was born July 18, 1907 in Provo, daughter of William Daniel and Mary Ann Polly Taylor Roberts. She married T. Ward Warnock, Dec. 1, 1933 in Vernal. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a professional artist. She was an art teacher. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints. She was a past Primary president and well loved in the Farmington community. She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Montoya, Sandy; Richard B. Warnock, Bountiful; Bob Warnock, Salt Lake City; 14 grandchildren, four great grandchildren; sister, Geneve Dunn, Studio City, WARNOCK Calif. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 21 at 12 noon in the Farmington Rock Chapel, 272 N. Main. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the ser-- vices. Interment in the Farmington City Cemetery under the direction of Russon Brothers Bountiful She married Clifford Stoker Nov. 28, 1948. He died Dec. 18, 1968. She had worked at the Naval Supply Depot and for Village Resorts Inc., in Lake Tahoe, Calif., for five years. She had lived in Kaysville and in Lake Tahoe, Calif., for 20 years. She attended Davis County Schools and graduated from Davis High School. She was a member of the LDS Church. Surviving are four brothers and two sisters, Rex Flint Hill, Richard Flint Hill, Joseph Flint Hill and Mrs. Clyde (Ramona) Gailey, all of Kaysville; John Jack Flint Hill, Farmington; Mrs. Wayne Carol Dean) Page, Layton. Services were held April 16 at Lindquists Kaysville Mortuary. Joseph Flint Hill officiated. Family prayer was by J. Nance Jean Elizabeth Gordon Nance, 68, died April 19, 1987 in a Bountiful nursing home. She was bom March 7, 1919 in San Francisco, Calif., daughter of John Francis Gordon, and Ellen Gertrude Keaton Gordon. She married Russell Wellington McIntosh June 15, 1941, later divorced. Married Homer Nance June 25, 1966. She is survived by two sons, Jack and Judy McIntosh, Bountiful; James and Suzanne McIntosh,, San Mateo, Calif.; three grandchildren; sister Frances Stone, Bass Lake, Calif. Funeral services will be held in Taft, Calif, where she will be interred in the West Side District Cemetery. Funeral directors: Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary.
