Since 19G2, that program has been followed at the prison in Dwight. With support from the W. Clement & Jessie V. Stone Foundation, it's spread to 29 institutions in 16 states. If enough of the nation's correctional institutions get on the bandwagon, foundation officials envision a new era for every woman in prison provided every woman wants to do more to help herself.
