The panoramic view from "The Ridge" is surpassed only by the facilities themselves. You'll enjoy year round tennis, racquet-ball, racquet-ball, swimming, indoor track, complete NautilusUniversalFree Weight Fitness Center with treadmills and Lifecycles; Ariels Dynamic Computerized Testing Equipment, basketball, aerobics for all levels, adult lounge with poolping pong, youth game room, tanning room, volleyball, massage room, video viewing areas. These facilities are kept spotless and you'll appreciate their new lighted over-flow parking area just opened. The club is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. six days a week. The Ridge Athletic Club offers something for everyone, whether they be young or old, competitive or social, physically fit or getting there.. Up to eight aerobic classes are offered daily including special "fun" classes for children, beginner, intermediates, in-termediates, advanced workout classes, conditioning for sports, heavy hands, etc. They even have an "Animal Hour!" They run a full range of league, clinic, social and competitive activities in tennis, racquetball and swimming for all ages. The club sponsors a swim team and a basketball team which compete locally and on the state level. Next year will include softball and bowling. These teams are open to all members. Qualified Fitness Consultants are anxious to test you on the Ariel Dynamic Computerized Testing Equipment and design a work-out program for your special needs. You can stay tanned all winter in the tanning booth, relax in the massage room, or entertained in our video viewing area. The youth room provides the kids with their own place to hang out or participate in structured activities. The adult rooms enable more quiet, relaxed activities for adult members. The future of the club will include more emphasis on social events and functions as well as greater commitment to fitness and membership value. Some of these items in the planning stages are: social clubs for skiing, cards, board games, Monday night football and baseball, and winter video golf. The annual events are also important for development of club tradition. These include Wimbledon Week and a Hawaiian Luau.
