Brian Hales RaeLene Hambhn m m in r K fill Hicken Marissa Labrum - till Brian Hales - Social Science Brian Hales, son of Brent and Darcy Hales, has been selected to represent Union High School as the Social Science Sci-ence Sterling Scholar. Currently, his GPA is 3.988. He has participated with both student government and National Honor Society for several years. Brian presently holds the position of senior class vice president in student government. He has been a member of the football, basketball, and baseball base-ball teams for four years. Brian enjoys wakeboarding, reading, and playing the piano. After high school, he plans on serving an LDS mission. When he returns, he plans on attending college, majoring in engineering. RaeLene Hamblin - Music RaeLene Hamblin, daughter of Steven Ste-ven and Valarie Hamblin, has been selected se-lected to represent Union High School as the Music Sterling Scholar. Her GPA is presently 3.934. She is an active member of the Jazz Band, Symphonic Band, and Percussion Ensemble. For several years now, RaeLene has also been involved with Upward Bound, National Na-tional Honor Society, and Cross Country. Coun-try. V J! f ' .1 - 4 jr Michelle Uresk Michael Wmterton Bowdy Searle Bowdy Jack Searle - Computer Technology Bowdy Jack Searle, grandson of Joe and Verna Searle, has been selected as Tabiona High School's Computer Technology Tech-nology Sterling Scholar for the 2006-07 school year. His cumulative GPA is 3.2. Bowdy is on the school golf team. He enjoys helping people, especially the elderly. Bowdy loves computers and is always available to help anyone in the Uintah High School Sterling Scholars Kayla Batty - Trade and Technical Education Kayla Lyn Batty, daughter of Ronald Dale and Linda Winerton Batty, is the Trade and Technical Education Sterling Scholar at Uintah High School. She is from Vernal and has a 3.829 GPA. Kayla has received the Bronze, Silver and Gold Medallions for Academic Excellence and scored a 28 on the ACT. She is an active member of FFA and was on the first place team in the state agronomy contest, where she placed as the second highest individual. Kayla will receive her associate degree from Uintah State University Uintah Basin in May. of this year. Mamta Chaudhari - English Mamta Muljibhai Chaudhari, daughter of Muljibhai Motibhai and Shardaben Kachrabhai Chaudhari will represent Uintah High School at the English Sterling Scholar. She is from Vernal and has a 3.769 GPA. Mamta . is a four-year member of the National Honor Society and is an officer this year. She has taken and passed the AP English Exam and was named Student of the Month for October at Uintah High School. Jennifer Daniel - Drama Jennifer Daniel, daughter of Dr. Bruce Allen II and Shelly Zundel Daniel, has been cast as Uintah High School's Speech and Drama Sterling Scholar. She is from Vernal and has a 3.869 GPA. Jennifer is a three-year member of the National Honor Society and was Uintah's chapter vice president presi-dent last year. She had been in four community musicals, six school musicals, mu-sicals, and four school plays. She was the top witness at region mock trial and was a top delegate and committee member in the Model United Nations Project. Jennifer is a member of Uintah High School's show choir, the Uintah HiLites, where she has served as choreographer chore-ographer for two years and president for one year.
