Show Center starts new class Many parents are frustrated and deeply concerned when students fail to learn and achieve academically academi-cally commensurate with their abilities. abili-ties. The Parent Education Resource Center is sponsoring a class that will explore both the learning styles and the family influences which contribute to underachievement along with some pointers on what parents can do to help their children become better achievers. The class will be held Nov. 28, at 7 p.m., at the Monte Vista Center, 100 S. 200 E., Farmington. The cost is $3 per person or couple. Preregistration is required and can be accomplished by visiting the Parent Education Resource Center at 120 W. 3000 N. in Layton or by calling 773-7571. |
