Show Van Leeuwen marks 80th Y? 1 Henry Van Leeuwen will celebrate his 80th birthday at an open house from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, Satur-day, Nov. 10, in the recreation hall at the Ogden 17th Ward, 29th and Quincy Avenue. He was bom Nov. 8, 1910 in Salt Lake City, to Albert and Jane Noor-da Noor-da Van Leeuwen. On April 7, 1932, he married Virginia M. Pulley in Caliente, Nev. The vows were later solemnized solem-nized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were later divorced. He married Mae Morris June 2, 1969 in Evanston, Wyo. He is a member of the LDS Church, and he has served in numerous positions, including high priest group leader, finance clerk and temple worker. He also served a mission in the Oakland California mission. He was a conductor for the Union Pacific Railroad, retiring in 1975 after 40 years of service. His children and their spouses are: Raymond and Charlotte Hayes, Keith and Maureen Van Leeuwen, IIBIHH '. ,- WiiHfll HENRY VAN LEEUWEN Kent and Holly Van Leeuwen, Leon and Jacalyn Pierce: two stepsons, K. Ralph Morris, and Larry D. and Chris Morris. He also has 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren. No gifts please. |
