Show First term concludes By KIM WOODBLRY Have you ever heard the old adage "Time flies when you're having fun"? Well, that certainly is the truth here at Woods Cross High. (Cat if! Chajg Wildcat life is such a constant party that some people have been too busy to even notice that it's November yet. This is also the first week of the second term of the 1990-91 school year of the one-and- only high school experience of your I life! Therefore, make the most of it! Congratulations to the football, lady soccer, golf, lady tennis and cross country teams on their outstanding seasons. But Wildcat sports never really end, they just take on another form. Tryouts began yesterday for the prestigious WX basketball and wrestling teams. Good luck to all the hopefuls and, no matter what happens, remember that everyone's a winner at Woods Cross High. In addition, the bumpin and spikin' volleyball team is still going strong and will compete in the state tournament this Friday and Saturday. Satur-day. Go 'Cats ! The Wildcat of the Week is Cassandra Bevan. She is the yearbook year-book editor this year and her favorite thing about WX is working on the yearbook overnight. Cassandra Cassan-dra loves animals and wants to be a veterinarian. She also drives a bright turquoise car with hot pink stripes. Congratulations, Cassandra! Looking ahead, Saturday, Nov. 17 will be the Wally Hawkins dance. It is, of course, ladies' choice and if you haven't asked that special someone yet, you could be out of luck. And, now, a final word from Wayne and Garth to sum up life here at WX, "Excellent!" Homos ay what? |
