For information and registration, contact 581-8821. More than ever, Utahns are questioning ques-tioning both the long- and short-term short-term effects of their actions on the environment. A new fall quarter University of Utah course addresses these issues and discusses environmental envir-onmental principles, problems and solutions. "Conservation of Natural Resources, held at the University of Utah Bountiful extension, meets Yednesday, 7:15-9:45 p.m., Sept. 26-Dec. 5, for four hours University credit (Geog. 335R-20). Topics considered include water, soil, air, mineral, biotic energy or scenic resources and the roles of modem technology and human populations. Craig Brown, instructor instruc-tor of the course, offers field trips, projects and slide shows to help illustrate il-lustrate global and local aspects. Brown was raised in Utah and has traveled extensively exploring his specialty concerning the envir-onment. envir-onment.
